Graduated from Milan State University Law School in 1969. Admitted to practice in 1971, he is currently a member of the Milan Bar. Admitted to practise before the Italian Supreme Court and other Superior Courts since 1983.

PROFILE
He worked in the law firm Ughi e Nunziante from 1975 to 1989 and became the firm’s youngest equity partner in 1978 and, shortly thereafter, the head of the litigation department. In 1989 he founded the law firm Traverso & Associati, a law firm active in corporate law and litigation, in both cases with a strong international orientation. He founded hi.lex in 2011 and is one of its founding partners.
During his almost 40 years of professional activity, he has developed an invaluable experience in litigation and arbitration, both domestic and international, as well as in providing advice and assistance in corporate matters and in relation to M&A and other extraordinary transactions. He regularly serves as arbitrator in complex proceedings, both ad hoc and administered by the main national and international arbitral institutions. He has been recommended, in several editions, as one of the Leading Lawyers for Business by Chambers Europe and by The Legal 500 for Europe.
